2025年1月,沙羅洞生態保育系列活動將會有兩個具體活動將會舉行。詳細信息如下:


In January 2025, two events will be held in the Sha Lo Tung Ecological Conservation Series. Details are as follows:




沙羅洞日間導覽及助力生態修復活動


時間:2025年1月4日,下午


地點:沙羅洞


沙羅洞是一個罕見的山谷淡水濕地,被譽為香港的蜻蜓天堂及重要的昆蟲棲息地。這裡擁有豐富的生物多樣性,是多種珍稀昆蟲和野生動植物的家園。然而,沙羅洞正面臨持續的環境威脅,迫切需要全面的科學保育框架。


此次日間導覽活動旨在加深公眾與學者對沙羅洞濕地生態現狀的認識,提高對其生態保育重要性的理解。活動中將組織參與者進行具體的生態修復行動,鼓勵積極參與。


導覽團由當地村民和生態學家帶領,參加者將學習如何更好地理解沙羅洞的生物多樣性特徵和生態價值。活動還包括如清理福壽螺等生態修復行動,讓參與者親身投入保育工作。

Daytime Guided Tour, and Ecological Restoration Activity


Time: January 4, 2025, afternoon


Venue: Sha Lo Tung


Sha Lo Tung is a rare valley freshwater wetland, known as Hong Kong's dragonfly paradise and an important insect habitat. It is rich in biodiversity and home to many rare insects, wildlife and plants. However, there is an urgent need for a comprehensive scientific conservation framework as Sha Lo Tung is facing persistent environmental threats.


The daytime guided tour aims to deepen the public and scholars' understanding of the current ecological status of the Sha Lo Tung Wetland and the importance of its ecological conservation. Specific ecological restoration activities will be organized during the tour, welcome all participation!


Guided tours will be led by local villagers and ecologists, and participants will learn how to better understand the biodiversity characteristics and ecological value of Sha Lo Tung. The program will also include ecological restoration activities such as cleaning up the Fukushu snail, allowing participants to get involved in conservation work first-hand.

地點:綫上


沙羅洞是一個稀有的山谷淡水濕地,被譽為香港的蜻蜓天堂及重要的昆蟲棲息地。此地區擁有豐富的生物多樣性,孕育著多種珍稀昆蟲和野生動植物。然而,沙羅洞正面臨持續的環境威脅,亟需一套全面的科學保育框架。


本次工作坊的目的是提升公眾對沙羅洞及其生態重要性的認識,並激發對香港生態環境和保育的興趣與討論。活動內容將涵蓋沙羅洞的生物多樣性和生態系統服務,從科學保育的角度深入探討其對香港生態環境的重要價值。

SLT Workshop Ⅰ: Biodiversity and Ecosystem Service


Time: January 11, 2025, afternoon


Venue: Online


Sha Lo Tung is a rare valley freshwater wetland, known as Hong Kong's dragonfly paradise and an important insect habitat. The area is rich in biodiversity, harboring a wide range of rare insects, wildlife and plants. However, Sha Lo Tung is facing persistent environmental threats and is in need of a comprehensive scientific conservation framework.


The workshop aims to raise public awareness of Sha Lo Tung and its ecological significance, and to stimulate interest and discussion on Hong Kong's ecological environment and conservation. The workshop will cover the biodiversity and ecosystem services of Sha Lo Tung, and explore its value to Hong Kong's ecosystem from a scientific conservation perspective.
